What is DUALAM®?
The machine incorporates the Dual Coat Lamination System – where components are not required to be mixed in advance. This innovative dual coating system ensures superior film appearance, reduces adhesive waste, and delivers high initial cohesion, all of which significantly enhance production efficiency. The system addresses concerns on weak initial bond strength and adhesive handling with its:
- Fast curing at ambient temperatures
- Exceptional laminated appearance, especially on foil and metallized structures
- Back-to-back triplex lamination for shorter turnaround times

A Seamless Journey: From Preparations to Successful Installation of DUALAM in Malaysia (Foraypack Malaysia)
Foraypack, Sinomech and DIC Teams during machine acceptance test at Sinomech Corporation.This DUALAM project is a collaboration between DIC and Sinomech Corporation. The DUALAM technology is designed and patented by DIC, and the laminating machine is custom made by Sinomech Corporation. The journey began with the machine acceptance testing at Sinomech Corporation, China, where DIC teams and Foraypack representatives verified its reliability before shipment to Malaysia. This was followed by tests and trials that showed excellent lamination results with DIC adhesives, with onboarding sessions ensuring Foraypack’s team could maximize its capabilities. Foraypack began commercial production with DUALAM machine from Q4, 2024.
