At DIC Asia Pacific, community engagement and fostering relationships within and beyond the company are vital pillars of success. Two recent events exemplify this commitment: PT Pardic Jaya Chemicals (PJC) hosted an exciting Family Gathering event, celebrating togetherness with employees and their families, while DIC Philippines (DIC PH) actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2024 initiative, contributing to local school improvements. Both events highlight DIC’s dedication to building strong internal bonds and positively impacting the communities in which they operate.
PT Pardic Jaya Chemicals Hosts Family Gathering: “Accelerate Together” with Employees and Their Families
On June 29, 2024, PT Pardic Jaya Chemicals (PJC) brought its extended family together for a special Family Gathering event at Trans Studio Cibubur.

With the theme “Accelerate Together,” the day was packed with exciting attractions, laughter, and moments of bonding between employees and their loved ones, creating unforgettable experiences for all attendees.
The event was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of unity and collaboration within the company. A touching moment during the gathering was when employees’ children presented flowers to the management team.

This event was a way to strengthen the connection between employees and their families. The day was a celebration of the strong bonds within the PJC community!
DIC PH Volunteers for School Initiative to Support Local Community
On July 23, 2024, DIC Philippines Inc. (DIC PH), led by the ESH Committee, Production Manager Mr. Aldo Rei Garcia, and Technical Manager Ms. Shyla Sigue, took part in the national Brigada Eskwela 2024 initiative, which was arranged by the Department of Education of the Republic of the Philippines. Brigada Eskwela is an annual school maintenance program that encourages students, teachers, parents, and staff to volunteer their time and resources to prepare schools for the new school year (read more about this initiative here).
DIC Philippines Inc. partnered with Cipriano P. Sta. Teresa Elementary School at Bagumbayan, Taguig City to help them get ready for the forthcoming school year. DIC donated various cleaning materials such as brooms, dustpans, and rags and volunteered to clean the classrooms and other school facilities.
DIC’s participation in the Brigada Eskwela demonstrates its commitment to education and community development, staying true to its Corporate Social Responsibility.
By supporting public schools and engaging with local communities, DIC PH made a positive impact, strengthened its reputation, and fostered employee engagement in its community.
The event served as a reminder of the positive contributions a company makes to society. This is the essence of “Tatak DIC” (loosely translated in English to mean “a mark of DIC”) – a commitment to enhancing lives and bringing “Color and Comfort” to the world.
Both events highlighted the theme of PT Pardic Jaya Chemicals and DIC Philippines strengthening internal bonds and supporting their communities. DIC APAC continues to recognize the importance of such events and looks forward to sharing more stories about it in the future.
