On Sunday, 27 July 2025, DIC ANZ honored National Tree Day by partnering with the local council to organize a tree-planting event at Namatjira Park in Clayton South.

Established in 1996 by Planet Ark, National Tree Day has become Australia’s largest community-driven environmental event, encouraging people nationwide to get their hands dirty and make a positive impact on their surroundings. Each year, approximately 300,000 volunteers join in to plant trees and care for nature, contributing to cleaner air, cooler neighborhoods, and stronger biodiversity.

This initiative marked a meaningful way for the team to engage with the community and give back to the environment.

A group of DIC ANZ volunteers participated in the event, spending the morning planting seedlings and supporting the community’s sustainability efforts.
