PT DIC Graphics Leads the Way in Ink Manufacturing: Celebrating Grand Opening of State-of-the-Art Water-Based


DIC Group’s Project Aquarius has achieved a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new Water-based Mother plant in PT. DIC Graphics, Indonesia. The event on March 2nd, 2023, was marked by excitement as DIC team members in the Asia-Pacific region and Headquarters gathered to celebrate the occasion.

The new manufacturing plant is equipped with the latest equipment from Ystral and Buhler and supported by Seamec, enabling the delivery of the highest quality products with improved production efficiency. Notably, the plant also aligns with DIC Group’s sustainability commitments, operating with reduced energy requirements.

The project faced significant challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertain global supply chain situation, yet the DIC team overcame these obstacles with the help of all stakeholders. The successful completion of the Water-based Mother plant represents a significant milestone for DIC Group’s Project Aquarius, solidifying DIC’s position in the Ink industry, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
